Established on rue Carnot before the war, this emblem was moved and rebuilt in this location by Léon Margotin and Louis Roubert in 1922. They built a shop and an art gallery lit by a glass roof.
This shop illustrated the quality craftmanship at the start of reconstruction, with cut stone and rich ironwork and mosaics.
The full structure has been well preserved: false marble paintwork (restored), awning, granito floors with patterns of roses and irises, as well as neo-Directoire furnishings in the Art Deco sty
