Europe and Champagne-Ardenne after the war assesses these years, conjures up the material reconstruction and shows the political, economic and social state of a changing world.
"Marne 14-18" invite you to discover the tour "On the Steps of the Armies of Champagne" through a CD which offers the ability to browse 18 sites of memory on the former battle front of Champagne and to trace their history during the World War I.
Testimonies of soldiers or families affected by the conflict will immerse you into the heart of battles and of daily life on the front. The CD comes with a booklet which is a circuit map that shows the places to discover (on sale €8). Also discover the 18 sites of memory with two iPhone and iPad applications. For each site, explanations accompanied by photographs and videos depict the local history during World War I. These applications also offer a route to the nearest location or the site you are looking for with your GPS (free downloadable applications from the App Store).
Open from February to June and from September to November from 1pm to 6pm. In July and August from 10am to 6pm.
