Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Basilica of Notre-Dame de l'Epine is a major work of the Flamboyant Gothic style, with numerous gargoyles of great originality.
Its facade has three portals surmounted by two asymmetrical spiers as well as a remarkable 15th century rood screen housing the venerated statue of the Virgin.
It is one of the sanctuaries on the way to Saint Jacques de Compostela and a major pilgrimage site in France.
