In a pretty valley south of the village of Arcis le Ponsart, the Val d'Igny Abbey houses a community of Cistercian nuns.
The abbey has also been home to a traditional chocolate factory since the 1960s.
Made by the nuns, their speciality is the champagne cork made of chocolate with marc de Champagne, which has made the abbey famous in the region.
In their shop, the nuns offer you a wide choice of chocolates made by them and monastic and regional products.
