The Maestris school and, since 2015, Esupcom’Reims (University of Communications) occupy these buildings, which still carry the name “G.H. Mumm & Cie”. This was the champagne house that made this richly decorated porch in the early 20th century after purchasing the premises from Henri Abelé and Charles Heidsieck.
The offices (no. 46) and the Heidsieck industrial warehouse (nos. 42-44) have been preserved and repurposed for teaching.
However, the Abelé production areas (no. 48) gave way to the Jules
César II-III housing built by the Reims Habitat property manager.
